Allah the Almighty may answer the prayers (duaa) of a non-Muslim in some cases and situations. Answering the duaa of a person does not necessarily mean that Allah loves this person or is pleased with him. Allah may answer the duaa of non-Muslims to gain some worldly interests or avoid worldly harms, out of His All-Encompassing Mercy and Justice.

And what is the best way/wazifa to ask from Allah Ta'ala? A: The Sunnah method of Salaatul Haajat to fulfil one's need as reported in the Hadith is that one makes wudhu properly, performs two rakaats Salaatul Haajat and thereafter engage in dua by first praising Allah Ta'ala and conveying Durood upon Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam).
Conditions of accepting Du`a are: • You should call upon no one except Allah. • You should seek to draw close to Allah in one of the ways that are prescribed in Shari`ah. • You should avoid seeking a quick response. • The Du`a should not involve sin or severing of the ties of kinship. • You should think positively of Allah.
Answer. Allah (SWA) accepts those supplications, which are appropriate and proper from a Non Muslim. However, it is impermissible for Muslims to seek forgiveness for the disbeliever.
So remember, if you want the mercy of Allah, be merciful to others. You want Allah to be kind to you, be kind to others. Save yourself from losing the mercy of Allah. Allah speaks about another extremely important component when it comes to saving ourselves. Many of us make dua (supplication).
